Social Media Manager

Ogilvy seeks to recruit a Social Media Manager to join its team for its top projects. Reporting to the Account Director, they will be responsible of managing the complete social media presence for specific clients.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in creating and handling content across multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.).
  • Degree in advertising, digital marketing or similar is preferred.
  • Experience in social media reporting after gathering and analyzing data and insights.
  • Proficient in creative skills and attentive to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both Greek and English.
  • Empathy towards understanding users’ characteristics and perspectives.
  • Proficient in project management, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively prioritizing and structuring work schedules.
  • Experience with Canva and CapCut will be viewed as an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Master brand content calendar creation and content writing, including creative briefings and ideation by maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • Coordinate with the creative department, providing precise and actionable briefs for all social media needs and account activations across various channels.
  • Develop content strategies by conducting platform, trend, market, and competitor research.
  • Produce, modify and distribute inspirational and engaging content for social media platforms, especially for Tik Tok.
  • Manage online communities on Facebook, Instagram, and other applicable social media channels.
  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely, empathetic, professional, and authentic manner, with an understanding of the social culture and the brand’s personality.
  • Monitor key metrics, generate reports, and optimize social media performance by implementing insights gained from social media analytics.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal team members across different departments.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Prioritize and schedule work effectively, anticipating potential problems and adjusting resource allocation as needed.
