Social Content Strategist

Ogilvy seeks to recruit a Social Content Strategist to power our social offering across strategy and creative execution. Through a deep and thorough understanding of social media platforms, the Content Strategist takes ownership for building the architecture on social platforms by crafting impeccable creative presentations, with an ultimate goal to find new audiences on social and engage them authentically.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong strategic thinking; you understand the organic social and you connect business challenges to ground-breaking, specific social strategy methodologies
  • Proficiency in designing presentations using software
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, data visualization and audience analysis to build personas
  • Fluency in the latest features and trends across social by creating POVs
  • Working knowledge of how social media content differs from paid campaigns
  • An obsession with all things social
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English

Responsibilities:

  • Develop organic channel strategies that define the purpose of the channels within the larger ecosystem of social media platforms
  • Guide social content creation and drive social content productions
  • Establish social playbook guidelines, governance, and strategic frameworks
  • Support new business efforts with creative strategic presentations
  • Partner with internal teams on creative ideation and social content opportunities
  • Work with other functions to integrate your social channels’ proposals into broader marketing initiatives
  • Create new, commercially viable products for social
