Asset OgilvyEntertainment strikes multi-year Formula 1 rights deals in Albania, Cyprus and FYROM

Asset OgilvyEntertainment ensured and expanded coverage of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in Greece, Albania, Cyprus and FYROM in deals reaching up to 2017.

In particular, the market of Cyprus was added to the agency’s portfolio of F1 rights territories handled, with new partner CYTAvision landing the rights for the 2015 & 2016 seasons. Terms of the two-year deal include CYTA Sport Plus’ live coverage of every race and qualifying program.

In Albania and FYROM, the existing deals with free-to-air channels TOP Channel and Macedonian RTV, respectively, were extended for three additional seasons (until 2017), starting with the on-going championship. 

Meanwhile in Greece, commercial broadcaster Alpha TV added one more year of F1 broadcasting, with pay-television broadcaster OTE TV continuing showing the premium motor racing series also for another season. 

Asset OgilvyEntertainment has been cooperating with Formula 1 since 2010, and is currently handling rights in the territories of Greece, Albania, Cyprus and FYROM.
