Betty Kazakopoulou was born in Athens and studied Political Science at Panteion University.

She joined the Media Department of HCF ERGON Advertising Company as Media Planner. By 1976 she became Media Director and a company shareholder. 

When HCF ERGON was bought by DMB&B she served as Communications΄ Director until 1990. 

In 1991 she co-founded the first sponsorship company in Greece “Asset Sponsorship”, and she managed the agency as the CEO.  Following the merger of Asset Sponsorship and Ogilvy Public Relations into Asset Ogilvy Public Relations, Betty served as the Managing Director and from 2010 she is President of the company. 

She has been a board member of the ‘”Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts” from 1995 to 2000. Also, she is an active member of the “European Association for Cultural Heritage”, the “Hellenic Society for the Environment and Culture”, the “Friends of Rhenia” for the Protection of Delos” and member of the “Women in Business Council” of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Being a pioneer in Sports Marketing, she has associated her work with the biggest Athletic Federations and Clubs as well as with Olympic Committees in Greece, Europe and Bejing on behalf of many company clients. On parallel, driven by her personal passion on culture, she has organized extremely important cultural events in collaboration with major cultural and heritage institutions in Greece and in Europe.       

In her career she has managed successfully over 500 programs and communications campaigns. 

Betty has a long term involvement in volunteer work and services for a vast number of non-profit organizations and environmental institutions.

She is a wife, a mother of two daughters and grandmother of three grandchildren. 


Managing Director


George is the Managing Director of Asset Ogilvy Public Relations. In his current role, he oversees all business operations, people and ventures. He is a strategist, leading the company to the most profitable direction, implementing its vision, mission and long term goals. 

He holds a great set of skills and knowledge on all company’s areas of expertise, i.e. Brand Marketing, Content Curation, Corporate practice, Media influence, Social Engagement, Digital/Technology integration, Media Rights negotiation and Sports Marketing.

Among his career accomplishments is the establishment of Asset Ogilvy Public Relations as the most award winning agency of the industry, ranked 1st among all agencies in value in the Greek Market, with the greatest clientele. Having sports marketing as his personal bet, he has the ownership of achieving cooperation with the greatest sports leagues, such as LaLiga, Euroleague Basketball and Formula1. 

His professional profile is crafted through various positions in the communications sector, giving him the unique opportunity to have full hands on the entire industry. His resume is being enriched with 5 years in the media sector (at Mindshare) and 1 year at the account management in Bold Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. He joined Asset Ogilvy Public Relations in 2007 as the Director of Sports & Content Management with the responsibility to redefine the department. 

He has studied Mathematics specialized on Applied Mathematics and Statistics. 

He is married and father of two.  


General Manager


Maria is the General Manager of Asset Ogilvy Public Relations having a 15-year experience in Communications and Public Relations. 

In her current role, Maria oversees the Account Management teams and leads all new business projects. She is an idealist, always striving for the best ideas that lead to the best results for the company and its clients.

Since 2003, when she joined Asset Ogilvy Public Relations, Maria has been responsible for the accounts of important clients from different sectors, such as Food and Beverage, Telecommunications, Health and Pharma, Beauty and Fashion, Banking and Insurance. She has a deep knowledge of all areas of the company’s expertise, such as Brand and Corporate PR, Digital PR and Influence, CSR, Media Relations and Event Marketing and Management.

Amongst Maria’s major achievements in the last 7 years is her leading role in important new business pitches for accounts such as L’Oréal Cosmetique Active, Novartis Oncology, AXA, Bayer and Athenian Brewery, more than 10 Ermis Awards for projects and clients that she had a leading role, as well as her long-term commitment and cooperation with important clients, such as COSMOTE and ELAIS-UNILEVER from the position of the Leader of the company’s respective Account Teams. 

Her personal journey in communication started back in 2000, at the Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, where she worked as a Communications Coordinator, while studying for her Master’s degree in Sport Management. Her dream to become an Olympic follower brought her back home to work for the Athens Games for a couple of years. In 2003, she hopped off the Olympic train to join Asset Ogilvy Public Relations, where she has been working, since then.

Maria holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from University of Technology in Sydney and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy-Pedagogics-Psychology from the Athens University.

Outside of work, she is a keen runner. 

She is married and mother of two boys, 9 and 10 years old.


Business Unit Director


Μaria has been working in the Marketing and Communications field for the last 13 years. She joined Asset Ogilvy Public Relations 5 years ago and is now acting as a Business Unit Director.

She has been handling the reputation and overall presence of several brands from different categories, such as Technology, FMCG, Telco, Retail, Services etc.

Currently, she is responsible for Coca-Cola Hellas, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, Microsoft Hellas, Reebok, Mondelez International, The Mall Athens and OTE Group of Companies, offering a wide range of services on a 360o level, for both corporate & brand needs.

Prior to joining the Ogilvy Group, Maria was a member of The PR Team, the PR company of Young & Rubicam Advertising Company and member of the WPP Group.

She holds an MA in Communication and Media from Coventry University, UK, and a degree in History of Art from University of Crete.

She speaks English & French.

Maria is a member of Women On Top, a mentoring network for women, offering her services on a volunteer level, in order to support and coach young women that are interested to work in the Communication Industry. She has also acted as an Associate Instructor, in Panteion University, running the Public Relations lab, addressing senior students (academic year 2016).
