Asset OgilvyEntertainment strikes new 3-year Formula 1 rights deal in Greece

Asset OgilvyEntertainment agreed with ERT, the Greek public broadcaster, for the free-to-air coverage of the F1 Championship for the following three years, up to the 2018 season.

The non-exclusive rights deal with ERT, which had also acquired the F1 broadcasting rights for the 2013 season, succeeds a two-year F1 broadcast cycle by Alpha TV, to ensure maximum national coverage. The rights package includes live broadcast of all races except four early morning GPs, pre-race shows and qualifying highlights.

OTE TV, the Greek Pay TV broadcaster, broadcasts live all races, practice and qualifying sessions.

Asset OgilvyEntertainment has been cooperating with Formula 1 since 2010, and is currently handling rights in the territories of Greece, Albania, Cyprus and FYROM.
