Asset OgilvyEntertainment ensured and expanded coverage of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in Greece, Albania, Cyprus and FYROM in deals reaching up to 2017.

In particular, the market of Cyprus was added to the agency’s portfolio of F1 rights territories handled, with new partner CYTAvision landing the rights for the 2015 & 2016 seasons. Terms of the two-year deal include CYTA Sport Plus’ live coverage of every race and qualifying program.

The FIA Formula E Championship is assured coverage in Greece by Asset OgilvyEntertainment, after closing a deal for the international electric car racing series’ first season with pay-television broadcaster, OTE TV.

Asset OgilvyEntertainment secured Spanish soccer’s La Liga airing in Cyprus for the 2014-15 season, which kicked off during the weekend of August 23rd & 24th. 

Telecom and Pay TV operator PrimeTel picked up rights for all games of the Spanish top-tier championship along with Spanish Cup’s Copa del Rey match-ups for the on-going campaign, including selected live and delay coverage.

Asset OgilvyEntertainment is handling the Spanish La Liga & Copa del Rey properties in Greece and Cyprus since the 2009-10 season.

Asset OgilvyEntertainment brokered a non-exclusive rights deal in Greece for the upcoming season of the Formula One motor racing series, which “returns” to commercial broadcaster Alpha TV after the 2010-2012 seasons.

The deal with Alpha TV complements the existing contract between the sports marketing agency and Greek Pay TV broadcaster OTE TV, hence safeguarding maximum national coverage of Formula One races for another season in Greece.

Euroleague Basketball, the organiser of European basketball’s top clubs competition, has renewed a television rights agreement with Asset Ogilvy Entertainment, the Greek sports rights agency, until the end of the 2017-18 season. 

Euroleague Basketball’s agreement with Asset Ogilvy covering Greece and Cyprus was due to expire in 2016 but has now been extended for two more years.
